Minium is a rare lead oxide, this intense, striking specimen of bright red-orange minium (lead oxide) which is pseudomorphing after preexisting cerussite from Broken Hill. This specimen dates from approx 90 years ago, and today the pseudomorph form of minium is extremely hard to come obtain in the market, Please note the size of this specimen. While considered a post mining mineral, the result of a huge mine fire, these specimen have a special place in many collections, and are constantly in demand.
