For sale is an uncommon mauve colored crystal group of spinel, from Luc Yen, Vietnam. The matrix looks to be translucent albite, uncommon for the location. Fine octahedral purple spinel crystals, are visible from all angles of this specimen. The color is good, the luster is glossy and there are even some gemmy zones. The largest distinct crystal face is 15mm. Top sharp lustrous crystal. We obtained this specimen on a recent visit to Vietnam.
