For sale is a group of alpine quartz crystals, from New Zealand. This was a really hard specimen to photograph, all front faces of the quartz are highly lustrous, with no surface flaws. The exceptions are a couple of smaller faces that have obvious chlorite coating. All the tops of the crystals are very gemmy, including one that has a great brownish green chlorite phantom. Decent quartz from New Zealand is rarely seen, alpine quartz, never! The size is outstanding. The rear of the specimen is all healed terminations.

The exceptions are a couple of smaller faces that have obvious chlorite coating. All the tops of the crystals are very gemmy, including one that has a great brownish green chlorite phantom. Decent quartz from New Zealand is rarely seen, alpine quartz, never! The size is outstanding. The rear of the specimen is all healed terminations.
