Here we have a group of silky cerussite crystals, together in an attractive jackstraw arrangement they are lustrous, elongate, milky white crystals to 23mm in length, the specimen has some three dimensional aspect. Very few Broken Hill cerussites are ever seen at mineral shows any more and even though some of these crystals are contacted, which is not unusual considering their softness, this specimen is still significant. These crystal are in exceptional condition, and considering this is a rare matrix specimen, it can only be classified as rare in todays market. This specimen originally came from the collection of Bernie Williams,(with label) a Broken Hill miner, then it went to Neal Smith collection, (Victorian MinSoc) from whom we obtained it. Please compare our prices to similar material found on the net, and remember our prices are in Australian dollars.
