We have a kyanite crystal from Entia Valley, Harts Range, N.T. We obtained this specimen from the discoverer Patrick Gundersen, from his discovery in 2010. The ice blue color is very pleasing to the eye, so is the price. A fascinating thing about kyanite is that it is the only mineral I have ever heard of that has two different harnesses in the one crystal, hardness of seven in the long direction and hardness of four in the short direction. This makes it slightly tricky to cut and polish. This crystal as you can see from the pics is quite gemmy! Please note this crystal is complete all round , and is not broken!! Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. AUD$1.00 is equal to approx USD$0.66.
