For sale is a species quiet often not seen in mineral collections, thou its a very significant minerals, known since ancient time, that is hornblend. This specimen from Mary Kathleen mine in Qld, is associated with a rather bright orange calcite. Here is an interesting quote, from Geology.com “The mineral hornblende has very few uses. Its primary use might be as a mineral specimen.” Quite unique I think. Collected by and from the collection of Frank and Trudy Godney.
