For sale is a honey opal specimen from Australia. This is by far the largest specimen of honey opal I have ever seen or handled. Huge amount of visible opal, some areas have a thin white coating of chalcedony. Interestingly when this material was pulled from the ground, the chalcedony was not there and only comes after it has been exposed to air for a day or so.
