For sale is a group of grossular garnet crystals from Mount Garnet, Qld. This is a well formed crystal group with good luster, some faces have remnant clay staining from where the sat in the pocket. The crystals are a deep honey brown color. Quite different from the green color usually associated with this location.

For sale is a group of grossular garnet crystals from Mount Garnet, Qld. This is a well formed crystal group with good luster, some faces have remnant clay staining from where the sat in the pocket. The crystals are a deep honey brown color. Quite different from the green color usually associated with this location. I have to note the garnet crystals are not black color as the pics show , they are much more brown! Collected by and from the collection of the late Norman and Jocine Robinson, Ballina.
