Product Description

Featuring fabulous grossular garnet crystals scattered nicely on a pale green diopside containing matrix from the famous but now closed Jeffrey mine, in Canada. I think what makes this specimen special is the color of the garnets, virtually always described as orange, these crystals definitely have a pink component, quite uncommon. Please note all major crystal are intact, with no damage. The crystals are extremely transparent, gem quality with superb glassy luster, and this specimen is much better in person, the flashing crystal faces just could not be captured easily. Again please compare our prices to similar available pieces, and remember our prices are in Australian dollars, USD$0.66 is equal to approx AUD$1.00. For any garnet collector, this is a quite uncommon color!
