For sale is an extremely uncommon green quartz from Corona station, via Broken Hill, NSW. I obtained this facinating specimen from Dave Bissett from Brisbane, who assured me the location is correct and that he knew the miner, who discovered this in the 1970s. Its the first time I have seen this material, but its possibly the best green quartz I have seen from any locality in Australia. I have no idea what the drusy green mineral surrunding the quartz is, but it does resemble pyromorphite. A most uncommon and unusual specimen!
