This features highly lustrous botryoidal silver thru to almost golden bronze colored goethite crystals, forming hollow pseudomorphs after a stout gypsum crystal. The gypsum crystallized first, was overgrown with goethite, then the gypsum dissolved leaving hollow epimorphs. This is a classic old Mexican pseudomorph, rare in the market today, particularly in such an attractive display, it displays well from many directions, and is in pristine condition. Ex Gary Southerland collection. Please note the fine size of this specimen and that our prices are in Australian dollars!!
