For sale is a rather uncommon fish and plant fossil from Farrs Hill, Uarbry, NSW. This consist of a two part specimen (one plate has been repaired, but in no way is a distraction) featuring a plant fossil, Agathis jurassica, and a fish fossil, Cavenderichthys talbragarensis. These both come from the late Jurassic, approximately 150 million years ago. The specimen comes from the Merrygoen ironstone, Purlawaugh Formation. This is an exceptional and attractive example of Australian fossils, material of this quality rarely comes up for sale. NOTE. Overseas purchaser please contact for postage costs.
