A fine sized specimen of beryl variety emerald in quartz from the Aga Khan mine, Poona, W.Aust. This site has been now long rehabilitated, covered over and is not accessible. This impressive specimen features a large display of emerald any way its displayed, with a couple of dominant well formed crystals up to 40mm long. Australia is not well endowed with emerald, the with Poona in W.Aust, and Torrington area in NSW being really our only source of good material. This is a particularly good display specimen, today these are not only hard to obtain, but they are appreciating at a very good rate! Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.
