With out doubt this is one of the finest cuprite specimens ever recovered at this historic location, the size of the main cuprite crystal, plus the great definition, and the atacamite association, is unique. From the collection of Jim Sharpe, (NSW MinSoc). This is a top quality Australian cuprite, the availability of such is a one off opportunity, for cuprite collectors. Please try and find a better or even a half as good one available anywhere. Or even a picture of one! Under magnification this is supberb, in one small vug (not seen) is a nice cuprite crystal sitting on an arm of native copper. I should note this specimen contains a huge amount of native copper, that does not show any degree of oxidization. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.
