For sale is a very decent well crystallized cuprite from Boddingyton Gold mine in W.Aust. There are some white to clear small crystals scattered over the surface of the cuprite, not sure what it is, either quartz or calcite. A fine undamaged specimen with crystal to 5mm, with a rich display. This mine produced specimens for a very short time, and before it reincarnation in about 2010 as a gold mine, today it is Australia’s greatest gold mine in terms of gold production. There are some decent cuprite crystals scattered over the rear of the piece. The cuprite comes with an old Willyama label. There is also some minor associated malachite.
