An extremely rich example of the gemmy, botryoidal to crystalline sea foam green with a hint of blue, willemite that occurs at its best from Tsumeb! There are some sweet, gemmy light green hexagonal crystals sitting on the malachite, probably willemite , but I am not sure. The willemite display is extensive, with the malachite, forming a nice contrasting paler green center. The combination of willemite and malachite is quite uncommon! To quote Rob Lavinsky (The Arkenstone) on one piece he had with the same association, “This particular specimen is intriguing because it is the only one of them I have seen with malachite association”. Tsumeb is so rich in minerals, but it is particularly well know for the worlds finest willemites. This is just one overall classy and rare (today) specimen! Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars, USD $0.67 is equal to AUD $1.00!
