CRYSTAL CAVE with ANTIQUE BUDDHA. We have set an antique Buddha casting into a Ganesh Himal Crystal “cave’. These rare Buddha casting, which has a mantra placed inside, were often produced to raise money to either repair, or build new temples. These antiques are very rare today. This cast Buddha was collected at an artifact market in Thailand 25 years ago, the printing on the base looks to be Burmese(?), someone maybe able to help with this ?. The fine quality of the casting can usually be seen in the how delicately the Mahla, or lanyard is displayed. The natural Alpine Quartz(Ganesh Himal) crystal has natural groth etching on almost all faces, with some second growth “skin’ displayed on the back, and one side face. Together they make a beautiful Alter piece, or spiritual display piece.
