For sale is a cornetite specimen from D R C. A fine, sparkling, bubbling, botryoidal mound of peacock-blue cornetite microcrystals from the Star of the Congo Mine. This is the type locality for this very uncommon mineral. The world’s finest cornetite specimens come from this locality and this is an excellent top quality piece. This specimen came from the famous find at the end of last century, the quality of which has never been equaled. As seen in the pics there is some associated malachite, this is a particularly large and impressive specimen for cornetite!
