For sale is a cobaltian smithsonite from Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia. Attractive, nicely-colored specimen of cobaltian smithsonite with unusually shaped crystals; the smithsonites crystals have a fine lush pink color, and the lustrous, satiny crystals have a, slightly rounded habit, reminiscent of some dolomite crystals. The smithsonites crystals are gemmy to translucent, and up to 9mm in size. Ex Garry Southerland collection, (NSW MinSoc). Please compare our price and remember our prices are in Australian dollars. This has great coverage of crystals, and the specimen is basically solid smithsonite, with minor black ore and calcite.
