For sale is a fine Whim Creek, double pseudomorph of chrysocolla pseudomorph malachite psueudomorph azurite, from Whim Creek copper mine, W.Aust. A colorful chrysocolla which has replaced malachite that, in turn, is pseudomorphing a group of azurite crystals, all sitting on goethite matrix. As a bonus there is on the right side of this fine piece, famous for the locale, two “gem” wulfenite crystals. These double replacements are quite uncommon, and came out over 30 years ago. The fine sharp definition of this specimen makes it quite special. Ex Vic Cloete collection, comes with an old label.
