For sale is a striking and uncommon Tsumeb specimen of botryoidal richly and attractive blue rosasite with transparent lustrous cerussite crystals . Rosasite is a copper zinc carbonate hydroxide. The large cerussite near the top is 20mm long! There is some associated green duftite, mainly on the rear of the specimen, as the pics show. These specimen are often said to be rosasite pseudomorph malachite, but I can say for sure this is the case here, its possible. A particularly dramatic example of this quite rare mineral, the sheer volume of rosasite alone is impressive! This specimen is featured in the Mindat, rosasite section for Tsumeb, (MinID YKM-7WP) here is the link. https://www.mindat.org/photo-752523.html (I have to comment that my color representation is way way more accurate representation of the true color, than the color representation in the pics provided to Mindat, from a major US dealer). Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.
