I had this piece at home sitting in my garden for years, recently I decided to cut it to see what was inside. It was a very pleasant surprise, particularly the fortuitous placing of the cut, which you can see could not have been better to highlight the small open cavity, lined with small quartz crystals. The outside of the geode has a strong red carnelian color, with the inside ranging in color from a pink grey, with some yellow and a dark reddish rind. This specimen has been cut into three sections, the third smaller piece is not pictured, but will come with the specimen, it is unpolished. Beautiful specimen WAY WAY better in person. Im sure with a little effort the polish on this which is fine, could be improved. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars.
