CALCITE ON SIDERITE WITH MINOR QUARTZ

Product Description

For sale is a calcite on siderite with minor quartz from Biggenden mine, Biggenden, Qld.  This features stepped shaped calcite stalactites,

that are classic Biggenden form. This all sits on a siderite bed, with minor quartz crystals. There is one crystal on the edge dinged and two small cleaves on the specimen.

Overall a classic Biggenden specimen, and a very good size, from this old, no longer producing mine.
