For sale is a calcite pseudomorphing aragonite from Renison Bell mine, Zeehan, Tas. Featuring a spray of acicular crystals, these interesting specimen came from a one off find in the mid 1990s.Only a small number of these were found, and there is still discussion if the replaced mineral was aragonite, gypsum has also been suggested.These interesting pseudomorphs, once hung from the roof of the pocket. This came from a one of find at the mine in the late 1990s. I did not think I had any of these left, till I found this last one tucked away at the back of a box, very happy. These today are hard to obtain!
