A fine antlerite from Brushy Park station, Qld. Antlerite, which could be considered quite uncommon, is a greenish hydrous copper sulfate, this features interesting group of bright green lobe type distorted crystals, that have formed as a plate of parallel crystals. The form is quite unusual, reminding me somewhat of a few azurite groups I have seen. This is a very good sized specimen for the species! Antlerite in collector quality specimens is very uncommon from Australia, this find of 10 years ago, set a new standard for the species in Australia! This specimen has a flashing surface that is not captured adequately in the pics! Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. Pristine!
