For sale is an exquisite amethyst smoky quartz from Namibia. A stunning and classic, partially sceptered amethyst crystal with strong smoky highlights from the famous Goboboseb Mountains of Namibia. This beauty is very glassy and has very distinctive stepped-growth faces. The crystal is transparent , to translucent towards the base, with water-clear to lightly frosted termination faces, the hoppered (fenster) prism faces give another dimension the the piece. With fine deep hoppering, Please note the rear of this crystal if fully terminated. We obtained this gem from Dallas Kemp, when he returned from a trip to Namibia.
