A quartz overgrowth (highly lusterous) with a couple of amethyst scepters, and large areas of tinged amethyst coloration , from the famous 2009 find by Patrick Gundersen, at Entia Valley, Harts Range, N.T. I have to comment that is is hard to capture the true nature of this wonderful specimen, the pics with white (creamish) background, were taken in a very smoky bushfire influence sunlight., I wanted to capture the all over crystallization! Specimens from this classic Australian amethyst find, rarely reach the market today! Particularly large size ones. This discovery was to my knowledge the first such find of material like this in Australia. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. AUD$1.00 is equal to approx USD$0.67. Some oxalic acid or such would probably clean this up a treat.
