ALPINE QUARTZ – CHAMONIX FRANCE – SOLD
For sale is a fine floater group of Alpine quartz from France. First of all pics do not do this supberb piece justice. Its complete all round, and has great clarity and razor sharp form , top luster and undamaged crystal edges. There is a very small dusting of chlorite on the left hand faces of the crystals. This specimen was collected by my good mate Tim, two years ago. I have been enjoying it since then. I have to say Im still not completely sure of the orientation of the crystals here, eg , which is the A axis and which is the C axis. Amazing specimen , way way nicer in person, absolute gem quality.
