AGRELLITE – KIPAWA RIVER CANADA – TYPE LOCALITY

$30.00

For sale is a agrellite and eudialyite from Kipawa river complex, Canada. Agrellite is a rare sodium calcium silicate, usually found only in crudely crystalline material.  It might not have a great appearance in daylight, but it fluoresces bright pink under SW UV light, an uncommon fluorescence color. The pearly luster agrellite is  associated  with radiating deepish purple eudialyite. I must say I know little about this mineral, except that this specimen comes from the type locality, and that it is ex Vic Cloete collection. It comes with its original old label.
