For sale is a top agate specimen from Agate Creek. Qld. First I have to say this outstanding piece is actually a slice, note the thickness. Having said that this is a beautiful specimen with vivid color and a fascinating inclusion. The centre section is made up of good sized transparent quartz crystals which have a amethyst bases. The brown yellow inclusion, because when examined closely, appears to have originally been some type of mineral that has now been replaced. I say this because, the angles on the inclusion appear to indicate it use to be some sort of crystal.
