This uncommon native element selenium, is one of the few that crystallize on their own. This specimen features many many small, 1 to 2mm bright silver crystals, acicular crystals, with quite heavy distribution on the dark area of the specimen, and more lightly scattered on the yellow mineral(which I have no idea what the yellow mineral may be). Selenium crystals rarely get larger than this. While this is a native element that crystallizes, and is in demand for Element collection, it is remarkably hard to purchase as a presentable mineral specimen. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. Check and see just how many are available for sale on the web. Obviously this piece is best appreciated with some magnification.
