TOURMALINE ON QUARTZ CRYSTAL GROUP
Details: This is an amazing piece, with the schorl tourmaline crystals, scattered on the quartz group. The main tourmaline is curved and makes a striking display ,the crystal length is 8cm and its fully terminated. I obtained this from the personal collection of a Pakistani mineral dealer. A very large plate, with crystals on both sides.These crystals have great luster, form, and color and are in perfect condition. This one off find was made in the early 70's. Pieces like this are rare on the market. Especially when having crystal of this big size. The mottramite matrix is actually a black than the pics show. This is a museum piece. VIVIANITE ON MATRIX
Details:
The discovery of this material in the early 80s was the most spectacular discovery of vivianite specimens in Bolivian history. They very quickly ran out, and few have been seen for years. The lusterous deep green crystal sit proud on a base of pyrohotite, very unusual for the location, or anywhere for that matter. Ex Reg Taylor collection, ex Alan Arnold.
