Most specimens from here were a mass of radiating crystals, these single crystal sprays, spread on the beautifully contrasting matrix, are very rare. No pictures can really do this justice.

PARGASITE CRYSTAL ON MARBLE
Details: We obtained this pretty pargasite on a recent trip to the Lok Yen mines. The large crystal is translucent, the two small ones are gem quality. This is a sharp crystal, with great luster and it displays well. These pargasites are interesting ,as they have some chrome in their composition, so they should probably be called chrome-pargasite.
