A TURKOMAN TRIBAL SILVER, BRACLET OLD
A TURKOMAN TRIBAL SILVER, BRACLET OLD Details:

Fine old Turkoman wedding braclet. Featuring double band carnelian, set on gold gilded silver. This gilding technique, called fire gilded silver, was developed by the Turkomen jewellers. Both edges have excellent lapis, set into the silver work. As you can see, on the side of the braclet, is complex fret work. A rare feature, seen only on item from wealthy families. More pics and info available. This item was originally made for one woman, for her wedding. The chance of it fitting anybody else is small. It is a work of art. It would need at least a couple of safety chains fitted to it. If it were to be worn. I would not recommend any work on this item! These are rare.
