Details:NEW An excellent large pyromorphite from Mt Isa. There are a couple of small contact areas , but basically the specimen is damage free. Large good plates of pyromorphite from Australia are not too common. The piece was obtained from NSW Mineralogical society auction. Great form and coverage.

a a QUARTZ AFTER CALCITE
Details:NEW I know this one is not really Australian, but we see so few decent N.Z. specimens, we would be proud of this one. Razor sharp, pristine crystal, it looks so much like calcite, right down to the internal cleavage lines. Very hard to take a good picture of, it is very nice. Ex Ron Young collection. Rare local.

a a QUARTZ GROUP WITH ORANGE AND BLACK INCLUSIONS
Details:NEW This is a fine quartz group from Toms Mt, Qls. The milky quartz has great dark inclusions on tll the upper faces, and most of the crystal are crowned with an orange tip. No damage. This is a lot better than the pics indicate, its hard to capture the fine complex side terminations. Ex Ron Young collection.

a a QUARTZ PSUDOMORPHING CALCITE CRYSTAL GROUP
Details:NEW This is a superb and very rare psudo from Upper Crystal creek, near, Uki. This area around the Mt Warning volcano, has provide a many very interesting pieces, over the years. This is the first one of these I have seen, from this area. Unfortunately virtually all these old collecting areas are now off limits, mainly because they are either extremely rugged areas or they are now in national parks. This came from an old northern rivers collection, and has the front of the specimen polished, giving a view of what has happened. There are areas of chalcedony and areas of clear quartz within the specimen.

a a RHODONITE CRYSTAL
Details:NEW A fine large rhodonite crystal, from the worlds premier rhodonite crystal source. Fully terminated and having high luster. As you can see all the side terminations are razor sharp, this is quiet uncommon from Broken Hill, with rounded terminations being the norm. Some minor galena, particularly on the unusual top termination. Ex Bernie William collection, (past President of the Broken Hill Mineralogists Club)
